| We
have been utilizing GPS Navigation systems on our machines since 1997.
Primarily used in seismic line cutting navigation, our system has paved
the way for new line cutting techniques in Western Canada. Our navigation
system is available with different options to suit project needs.

| LINE CLEARING NAVIGATION Using GPS navigation to cut seismic lines has numerous advantages over traditional "sight line" methods. The system provides accurate real-time positioning with an easy to use graphical interface for the machine operator. Whole projects with important geographical features like watercourses, lakes, contours, shut outs, aerial photos, and buffer zones are all graphically displayed in an operator friendly rugged package. Positioning is acquired through stand alone or DGPS solutions depending on required positional accuracy. By integrating heading information from a Fiber Optic Gyro, under canopy positioning is stabilized as well as an accurate heading indicated. |

System development
has lead to implementation of our navigation systems on seismic drills
for navigation and survey purposes. The driller is navigated to the shot
hole and with the push of a button begins collecting survey data for the
duration of the drilling process. With another push of a button he is
navigated to the next hole where he again starts logging vital survey
information. This system provides accurate, reliable RTK post processed
survey data, as well as full navigation features to help drillers navigate
the project. |
